Our engineers are working on
adding support for more cameras and we will release a new
version as soon as possible.
- Q-What Cameras does
your Software support ?
Currently there is support for Intellinet, Axis, Sony,
StarDot-tech, JVC, Canon, Panasonic, DLink, Toshiba Network
Cameras. More cameras will be added in new releases.
- Q-I have a webcam,
Can I use your software to view it ?
No. ArtisanMX works with
Network Cameras only.
- Q-What is the
difference between a Webcam and a Netcam ?
Webcams which require to be connected to a Computer,
network cameras do not require a computer and can be
connected directly to a router.
- Q-What netcam do
you recommend ?
There are many types of
cameras all of them equally good. You need to specify the
qualities required as some of them for example support Jpeg
only while others can support Mpeg output. Some can capture
sound, other cannot yet. Please contact us with your
requirements and we'll do our best to answer you.
- Q-What happens
after I pay for the upgrade ?
We will contact you shortly
after payment and we will give you more information about
downloading your upgrade.
- Q-Can I use
ArtisanMX to record ?
Yes. ArtisanMX records video data in Microsoft's Avi
format (Audio-Interleaved). These files generally have a good
quality/space ratio. There are tools in the market than can
also help you convert to other formats.
